Engineer - Process & Controls

Our client in the food processing industry is seeking a Process & Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Process & Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting the plant full time. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience in PLC programming and automation.

What's the Job?

• Design, implement, and optimize process control systems focused on aseptic processing, concentration, and puree production
• PLC programming and automation
• Troubleshoot industrial processes
• Collaborate with plant staff, engineering teams, product development, contractors, and consultants
• Mentor and provide leadership to instrument technicians

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of experience in Electrical engineering, process, controls or similar degree, some experience may be trade (15 food processing, automation, PLC experience)
• Knowledge of CIP, Pasteurization required
• Aseptic System preferred
• Concentrator knowledge required
• PLC program development experience
