Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Intern based in Orlando, Florida.

The position is scheduled to begin in September 2023.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in geotechnical engineering tasks under the supervision of professional engineers and working closely with other team members to meet the project needs
• Performing geotechnical lab testing and limited field monitoring of geotechnical construction projects
• Adhere to AECOM safety culture and maintaining safe work environment

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with intent to continue enrollment after the internship
• Must have completed 3rd year of study in the applicable program

Preferred Qualifications:

• Capability in AutoCAD and/or Bentley CAD drafting software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Geotechnical work in previous internships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
