Role Description: Internship - Engineering

Role Purpose:

Wasabi Tech is currently seeking Interns for the summer of 2024. This position is an individual contributor role. Ideal candidates are majoring in computer engineering or computer science with strong OOD, OOP, and understanding of network-based APIs. You will use your software design and development knowledge to help a team dedicated to supporting highly reliable, secure, scalable, and innovative applications for Wasabi's hot cloud storage service. You should have expertise in agile software development, collaborate with team members, and be a pragmatic problem-solver. You should also demonstrate excellent communication skills, effectively connect with other engineering teams, and have a solid foundation in software design.

Requirements:

• Must have completed your sophomore year toward a degree in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent degree.
• Ability to work with general supervision and follow Wasabi procedures.
• Able to work full time during a summer internship.
• Solid understanding of software design principles. Proficiency in an agile framework, APIs, and a language such as Go, C++, Python or Java.
