The Company Drivers team owns the products that customers use to drive operational excellence and daily value. As the Engineering Manager you will partner with stakeholders and your engineering team to enhance and integrate our Goals Engagement and Manager Tools products with our new HRIS suite making it even more valuable to our customers by enabling closer connections across tools in our HR tech ecosystem.

What You Will Bring to the Table

You have 2+ years of experience directly managing software engineers. In this capacity you have been responsible for guiding and coaching the development of your direct reports providing performance feedback hiring and fostering a diverse collaborative and inclusive team culture.

• Proven ability to inspire mentor and develop high-performing teams.

• Track record of aligning technical work with organizational goals and driving impactful outcomes.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an adjustable style to executives engineers and nontechnical staff.

• Ability to navigate complex discussions and build consensus across departments

• You are comfortable with ambiguity autonomy and responsibility; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done—and then doing it.

• Preferably you have professional experience with the technologies with which we work (Node.js React Flow GraphQL Postgres Amazon Web Services).

What You Will Do

• Translate company strategy into actionable team goals and objectives aligning technical initiatives with organizational priorities.

• Manage coach and inspire a team of engineers fostering a culture of collaboration innovation learning and growth.

• Mentor and coach engineers promoting technical growth and aligning their development with team & company objectives.

• Bring a relentless passion for continuous improvement for both engineering craft and processes.

• You will ensure a delightful reliable experience for Lattice customers around the globe while simultaneously enabling a rapid pace of development.

• You will work with your team Product and Design to build new customer-facing products and improve upon existing ones.

• You will represent your team to the larger org. Ensure they receive public recognition for their success and take ownership of their failures.

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $187500 - $234500. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options subject to the terms of Lattice’s applicable plans.
