What You'll Do:

• Grow the team by partnering with recruiting to hire engineers
• Managing and leading a team of 6-10 ML/AI engineers 
• Coach and grow ICs so they are improving technically, providing constructive feedback, and managing their performance 
• Taking an active role in road-mapping and planning
• Lead the technical decision-making process and provide guidance
• Effectively communicating with stakeholders and influencing product, technical, architectural decisions, and process-related choices

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning experience and 2+ years of recent engineering management experience leading a team
• Hands-on experience in training Machine/Deep Learning models
• Experience in launching Computer Vision or Machine Learning applications on a scale
• A deep understanding of the process and challenges of building large scale ML products
• A track record of recruiting and hiring
• Experience managing and working with remote and distributed teams
• Excellent written and verbal communications
