Tinder is looking for an experienced engineer to deliver an outstanding SDLC for our infrastructure and platform teams! Our goal is to increase the development velocity by reducing bugs and unneeded friction around development and onboarding as well as provide tools and frameworks to facilitate testability.Â
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead a team of infrastructure and software engineers
- Provide daily guidance, mentorship, and coaching to your team
- Be singularly focused on the success of the individuals on your team
- Build large-scale systems from the ground up that drives high value for the company
- Help solve fun and sophisticated problems around microservice architectures and cloud development
- Chip in to the roadmap by demonstrating your understanding of business and technical knowledge to help prioritize objectives for the team

What we're looking for:
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Ability to write code in one of the following languages: Python, Golang, Java
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Bonus points if you have:
- Golang experience
- Experience handling or leading a small team
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, AWS, and/or Jenkins
- Experience with Envoy
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with crafting CI/CD systems and build systems
- Experience with developing internal tools
