On a day-to-day basis, our interns will spend most of their time working in an office setting but may involve some work onboard submarines or surface ships. Interns are also eligible to receive our extensive government benefits package and successful completion of the program may lead to a seamless conversion to a full-time engineering position. PHNSY & IMF is looking for energetic self-motivated students, who have or will be completing their sophomore year in engineering by the end of Spring 2024, to gain valuable engineering related work experience in our various Engineering Departments. As outlined in the USAJob.gov solicitation, you must be a US citizen to be appointed to a position at PHNSY & IMF.
