The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Enterprise Resiliency Team, the Senior Associate will be responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating exercises to strengthen the organization's ability to withstand and rapidly recover from incidents and disruptions. The Enterprise Resiliency team centralizes and unifies DTCC's incident management processes and drives other resiliency activities across the organization. In addition, the Enterprise Resiliency Office Senior Associate will engage with various partners to lead and facilitate comprehensive risk management strategies to fortify the firm's operational resilience, safeguarding critical processes, technology, assets, products, and services, to enhance customer trust and confidence.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with partners to identify and document operational resilience efforts across the enterprise
  • Engage with various partners on the design and operationalization of resilience programs (e.g., Operational Risk to complete emerging risk survey, using results to fortify/refresh enterprise-wide scenario library)
  • Implement data analysis and discovery related to operational resiliency plans, initiatives, and recommendations
  • Partner with clients and team members on the management of key incident data to support executive level reporting and to provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions
  • Communicate critical information to relevant internal and external partners
  • Coordinate incident root cause analysis and generating post-mortem / lessons learned outputs; assist in post-incident analysis and improvement initiatives
  • Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors, and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
  • Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

  • Excellent communicator who is comfortable navigating legal, technical, and business concepts
  • Ability to work under pressure, particularly, during and following a crisis
  • Proven ability to document process and monitor operational resilience within a complex organization in the financial services industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and collaborate well across teams
  • Knowledge of derivatives and securities market practices, treasury markets, clearing mandates for financial services participants
