About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Foundational certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Administer a Logistics Modernization Program (LMP); 2) Reviewing Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP); 3) Providing technical advice for new or additional repair parts; and 4) Evaluating acquisition deliverables and/or sustainment actions.
Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

- The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12/13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
- This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (Acq Demo) position in the NH-03 broadband, subject to the CECOM control point policy. Management will set the pay for this position consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.
- This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 05 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13, step 05 level the incumbent's salary may be put on a salary control point at the incumbent's existing salary.
- This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-12 grade Step 01 to the highest equivalent GS-13 grade step 05 in the broadband. The Control Point for this position is equivalent to GS-13 step 05 at $133,692 including locality at the rate of 33.26%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13, step 05 level the incumbent' s salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary.
