JOB TITLE:Bilingual ERP Consultant/Project Lead in English/Japanese

Compensation: 65K~85K(Depending on experience)
Our IT client is seeking a bilingualERP Consultant / Project Leadfluent in Japanese and English to join the team. This role is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting ERP systems, primarily for Japanese clients based in the U.S. As a local project lead, you will also manage ERP projects and collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesERP Implementation & Support
• Lead the implementation and support of ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV, AX, and D365.
• Conduct business process analysis and gather client requirements to design and configure ERP solutions.
• Customize and integrate workflows to meet business and functional needs.
• Perform system testing, data migration, user training, and go-live support.Project Leadership
• Serve as the local project lead, managing internal teams and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure projects follow Project Charter and implementation methodology.
• Prepare and maintain all required project documentation and deliverables.Client Engagement & Consulting
• Engage in pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations and proposal development.
• Provide ongoing consulting services to existing clients, identifying opportunities for additional support or enhancements.
• Collaborate with clients to develop or integrate custom applications as needed.Additional Responsibilities
• Travel frequently to client sites, primarily in Texas and other U.S. locations, with occasional overnight or extended stays depending on project needs.
• Participate in mandatory training and continually develop product knowledge.
• Support other team members and mentor junior staff as needed.QualificationsRequired
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of ERP implementation or consulting experience.
• Strong understanding of ERP concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Fluent in both English and Japanese (business-level proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional demeanor in conduct, communication, and appearance.
• Willingness to travel frequently.Preferred
• Experience with manufacturing, distribution, or service industry processes.
