Baker Tilly has an incredible career opportunity for a manager/senior manager to join our growing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy team.
Baker Tilly's ESG Consulting Practice combines deep functional, industry, and technical capabilities to help clients define and implement their environmental, social, and governance strategies and programs. We meet clients where they are on their ESG journey to support them in navigating the complexities of the ESG landscape including goal setting, data management, reporting, preparing for regulation, and more.

What You Will Do• Build strong, collaborative relationships with client teams to define scope and lead Baker Tilly resources to deliver solutions that achieve client priorities• Lead a team of Baker Tilly and client resources through definition and delivery of ESG projects which may include strategy definition, project implementation, research analysis, and/or report development• Produce and present strategies verbally, visually, and in writing with PowerPoint and written proposals to top-level management, C-level executives, and stakeholders• Manage and implement multiple projects through delegation, coordination, communication, and organization. Coordinate deployment of projects included staffing resources, deadlines, and client expectations• Support the development of the ESG team practice from go-to-market activities to delivery methodology standards, toolkit development, and team development• Define and implement industry best practices within our delivery methodologies• Act as a thought-leader for internal and client teams through research development and creation of whitepapers, knowledge reports, etc.• Provide functional expertise based on your specific skills and background• Invest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning and development programs• Support the growth and development of team members and clients through the Baker Tilly Value Architect model, helping associates meet their professional goals• Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balance
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, Masters preferred• Minimum of six (6) years of related experience; previous related consulting experience with sustainability and ESG projects or working in sustainability departments at multiple organizations highly preferred• Deep knowledge of ESG/Climate Change Strategy & Net Zero Strategy• Experience with ESG Operational Transformation (industry agnostic)• Familiarity with ESG reporting standards (SASB, GRI, TCFD, CSRD) and global regulation• Experience in Carbon Accounting Methodology (GHG Protocol)• Experience with Financing for Sustainability / Sustainable Investing (IRA, Bonds, PE, VC)• Knowledge in and experience with energy transformation markets • Experience managing senior-level client relationships and working across an organization with multiple stakeholders• Ability to provide exceptional client service, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects• Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, with a willingness to support different workstreams as needed• Ability to think creatively to solve problems gained through prior experience, education, training to resolve issues and remove project obstacles• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication, and highly developed Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills• Ability to travel as needed and work outside of core business hours for client engagements
Additional Information
For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $113,640 to $240,850. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
