RDL Constructionis a full-service commercial general contractor, providing traditional construction services under negotiated or competitive bidding arrangements. The bid can be fixed or cost-plus, internally bid to multiple vendors. Although RDL is non-union, we are able to provide full union subcontractor support if needed.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all facets of assigned projects and tasks, ranging from $20,000 and upwards of $5M each, from estimation to project completion. This position connects client, superintendent, subcontractors, architects/engineers, and the RDL executive team in keeping all on track to a successful outcome. This requires accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management, contract specifications, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Project Manager will collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities(but not limited to)
• Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Projects, Microsoft Office, Excel and Procore
• Collaborate with subcontractors to discuss project requirements, pricing and timelines.
• Conduct site visits to gather information for more accurate estimations.
• Prepare detailed reports that outline the scope of work, materials needed, labor costs, and timelines.
• Manage projects up to/beyond $5 million in worth
• Run and lead OAC Meetings.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with all specifications.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing information.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials costs, and best practices in construction estimating.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of project management/estimating experience in the construction industry
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
