Our Event Chefs are crucial to making sure our guests receive A Divine Event. We look for team members who exhibit attention to detail, and a drive for excellence. Event Chefs report directly to the Culinary Director at the commissary. During events event chefs report directly to Event manager. Essential Functions: What will you be doing? • Work with a team of chefs to execute small and large events, primarily during the weekend, at locations around the Austin area and surrounding cities. • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, serving guests and producing special events, primarily weddings. • Assist in food preparation at Vestals commissary when needed. Requirements: • 18+ years old • Previous hospitality experience (restaurant, catering, or events preferred) • Food Handler Certification - required • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods • Reliable transportation to various venues around Austin • Weekend and evening availability required What We Offer: • Flexible schedule - work events that fit your availability • Friendly, team-oriented work environment • Competitive hourly pay + tips (where applicable) • Opportunities for recurring events and long-term placement Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
