Event Security Staff

Job Description: Event Security Officer (Unarmed) Position Summary: We are seeking reliable and professionalEvent Security Officersto provide a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property at events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong situational awareness, excellent customer service, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while enforcing venue rules and regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor entrances, exits, and event areas to ensure safety and security. • Conduct bag checks, credential verification, and access control as required. • Patrol assigned areas to deter theft, disturbances, and unsafe behavior. • Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or alarms. • De-escalate conflicts and handle disruptive behavior in a professional manner. • Provide clear communication and directions to guests when needed. • Prepare accurate and timely incident and activity reports. • Work closely with event staff, management, and law enforcement when necessary. • Enforce event policies, venue rules, and safety regulations. Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must possess a Class D Security Officer License • Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand and walk for long periods. • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs if needed. • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Schedule & Compensation: • Part-time, event-based schedule with variable hours. • Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience.
