Overview Overton Security is currently hiring for Unarmed Special Events Security Officers in the South Dallas Area for the local college campus. All candidates for this posting should be able to perform a foot patrol for the duration of their shift. This posting is for TEMPORARY AS NEEDED officer candidates who will be working at special events held by our clients. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Support Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of various events, from corporate gatherings to social celebrations. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude, ready to assist in creating memorable experiences for our clients and their guests. Pay Rate: $18.00/hr paid weekly Schedule Date: October 31,2025 Time TBD Special Requirements: Candidates will be instructed to perform parking enforcement, wanding, traffic control, crowd control, and some foot patrols. Experience • Previous experience in event support or hospitality is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
