EVS/Housekeeping Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental services, particularly within hospital or commercial cleaning settings. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, ensuring that all areas are clean, sanitized, and compliant with OSHA regulations. Duties • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met. • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms. • Train and manage housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and identify areas for improvement. • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for staff. • Collaborate with other departments to address specific cleaning needs or requests. • Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety among staff. • Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including staffing levels, supply usage, and compliance audits. Required Education • Associate's Degree Experience • 5 years in hospital environmental services is required. • 2 years of management experience is required. Preferred • Project Management experience.
