Role Overview: Sodexo is seeking anExecutive Chef 2forConcordia University, located inAustin, TX. We are in search of a passionate, talented, culinary leader who is excited by innovation and is always up for a great challenge. Our operations at Concordia consist of Resident Dining, Catering, and a small retail operation. Concordia sits on a beautiful campus in Northwest Austin on a nature preserve. Concordia is a private faith based university, with an amazing student body, and great partners on campus. The successful candidate will maintain a positive presence throughout the campus, train and develop employees, maintain Sodexo procurement standards, and work within budgetary constraints. Developing staff and maintaining regulatory compliance will be key components to this position. Duties will also include ordering supplies, tracking meals, managing expenses & standards, and team building. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. What You'll Do: • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systemsWhat We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
