Role Overview
Sodexo Schools is seeking an ambitious Executive Chef candidate who not only understands the culinary arts, but also possesses a drive to increase participation through team training and strong leadership skills. This position will service a potential sale in the Florida Panhandle area of a large school district serving nearly 30,000 students in 40 school locations. The ability to lead from a hands-on approach and drive new initiatives in school dining and catering offerings is the prime dynamic of this role. Working closely with the rest of the team to ensure compliance with menu production, safety and USDA regulations is a must. What You'll Do
- be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
- have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

What You Bring
- a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
- excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
- strong coaching and employee development skills; and/or

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
