Key Responsibilities:
β’ Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor and manage kitchen staff; foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performance team culture.
β’ Kitchen Operations: Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring smooth, efficient service in a high-pressure environment.
β’ Cost Control: Monitor food and labor costs, portion sizes, inventory, and purchasing to maintain profitability without compromising quality.
β’ Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards in food preparation, plating, and consistency; uphold sanitation, safety, and health codes.
β’ Vendor Relations: Source and maintain relationships with high-quality vendors and local purveyors; ensure timely delivery of fresh, premium ingredients.
β’ Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house and management teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and successful special events.
β’ Innovation: Stay current on culinary trends, fine dining techniques, and presentation styles to continuously elevate the dining experience.
Qualifications:
β’ Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high volume fine dining environment.
β’ Formal culinary education or equivalent experience required
β’ Proven record of high standards in food quality, kitchen operations, and leadership.
β’ Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
β’ Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Knowledge of classical French cooking techniques and wine/food pairings is preferred but not required.
β’ SERV Safe or other food safety certification preferred.
β’ Strong leadership skills are required and the ability to mentor, coach and earn the respect of the team.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
