Executive Chef for Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

Iconic Italian Restaurant Near Galveston Texas seeks and Executive Chef. Our Executive Chef and KM of over 30 years will be retiring later this summer and we are in search of an amazing Exec Chef. This is a hands on position to manage the Kitchen and work hand in hand with the General Manager to a great restaurant. We offer an environment with exceptional culture as indicative of some of the long term tenure in operations staff and you will work with an amazing ownership group. Experience in a high volume corporate kitchen is required (Pappas Restaurant Group , Maggiano’s little Italy, Cheesecake Factory, Landry’s, Olive Garden, Chili’s ,and other high volume corporate kitchens with great systems and processes etc). This is your chance to live near the beach in South Texas and be part of one of the most iconic restaurants in the region. This is a bit of a ground floor opportunity as our restaurant is an amazing destination with an amazing employee culture and we haven’t had to fill the role in over 30 years. Our business continues to grow and we’re looking for someone with high volume experience that can help us continue our growth. We are also looking for someone with proven longevity in prior restaurant positions or progressive growth with the same organization, 3, 5, 10 or more years or more in the same gig shows loyalty.
