Executive Chef

We are looking for a leader for our Back of House kitchen operations. Balcones Country Club Operated by Arnold Palmer Golf Management is looking to bring on an Executive Chef to oversee our kitchen and back of house team for our active Member community. We are known as being The Club That Has the Most FUN and pride ourselves for our creative approaches to Member events, private events for 20-600 people, Team member development, and problem-solving. We are looking for candidates who can manage and lead a team of individuals to a level of operational excellence. We will be happy to meet with candidates who have the following attributes: Banquet experience needed 3-5 years experience in a culinary leadership role Knowledge of budgeting and expense management Proficiency with computers and applications Self-motivated/ no excuses Want to be a part of something bigger than themselves Positive attitude and high level of grit Desire to learn, grow and develop everyday Ability to help coach and develop Team Members in order to improve their skills and value Growth mindset and desire to get better every day High standards and commitment to quality Curiosity and interest in learning Hate the status quo and we have always done it that way mentality We will invest in candidates that meet the above criteria and assist them in developing their skills, knowledge and experience.
