Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining, catering, and food service management. This role requires a creative individual with a passion for culinary excellence, who can manage kitchen operations effectively while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities • Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food production and service. • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. • Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. • Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer expectations. • Coordinate catering services for events and banquets, ensuring seamless execution. • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards. • Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary. • Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication. Qualifications • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within the food industry. • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices. • Strong banquet experience with the ability to manage large-scale catering events. • Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management and staff development. • Excellent menu planning skills with creativity in food presentation. • Proficient in inventory management and cost control measures within the kitchen setting. • Solid understanding of fine dining principles along with restaurant management experience. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. • Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service excellence. • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred; bartending knowledge is a plus.
