Job Description

Poka’s HR team is looking for a People Operations Specialist to help with our systems management, recruitment operations and day-to-day operations. We’re looking for a detail oriented, process driven team member, that is also tech savvy as our team is alway looking for automation. The person will collaborate with the Poka team across the globe in Canada, Europe and Colombo.

• Help manage our internal systems for employee surveys, performance management cycles (Lattice, Peakon, Smart Recruiters, etc.)
• Create and maintain internal reports as needed
• Work with the local recruitment team to keep hiring plan up to date, post new roles in our ATS, support hiring managers
• Support day to day operations by responding to incoming employee inquiries in a timely manner and maintaining a high employee satisfaction
• Create, administer and summarise employee feedback surveys
• Help with special culture and engagement projects, compliance projects
• Actively contribute to the development of HR policies, processes and procedures
• Identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging systems and tools to automate and eliminate manual work where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in people operations or human resources, preferably within Sri Lanka or a similar regional context.
• Experience in HR project management and implementation of HR initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
