Carmine’s is seeking an experienced, motivatedExecutive Sous Chefto help lead our fast-paced kitchen and deliver the outstanding Southern Italian cuisine we’re known for. If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves mentoring a team, we want to meet you. What You’ll Do: • Lead and develop a team of Sous chefs, line cooks and prep cooks • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service • Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation • Fill in across all kitchen stations, expedite tickets, and assist with ordering • Alongside Executive Chef Monitor food and labor costs while maximizing guest satisfaction • Enforce safety, sanitation, and food handling standards • Oversight of Prep Team early AM shifts. • Train staff on recipes, techniques, and kitchen protocols What We’re Looking For: • 5+ years as an Executive Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Lead Line Cook or 2-3 yrs as Executive Chef. • Strong leadership and team-building abilities • Solid understanding of food safety and health department regulations • Excellent time management and multitasking skills • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive mindset • Experience with scheduling, labor management, and kitchen finances • Proficient in basic computer systems and kitchen software • Must be able to communicate effectively in English • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Why Work With Us: • A respected brand focused on quality and consistency • Supportive, team-oriented environment • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement • Competitive pay and benefits *We’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer!
