Executive Sous Chef – Bulla Gastrobar (Plano, TX) Pay: $60,000 – $70,000 per year + Bonus | Full-Time | 5-Day Work Week | Monthly Dining Credit Bulla Gastrobar is a vibrant Spanish restaurant inspired by the tapas culture of Spain. Our Plano team is looking for an experienced and passionateExecutive Sous Chefto help lead our kitchen and deliver exceptional culinary experiences in a high-energy, team-oriented environment. What We Offer Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary of $60,000–$70,000 per year plus bonus opportunities • $100 monthly dining credit redeemable at any of our 16 CRG restaurants • Health, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance coverage • 401(k) with up to 4% company match • 3 weeks and 4 days of paid vacation per year • 5 sick days per year upon hire, plus paid holidays • Five-day work week (average 50 hours), with compensation for additional time Career Growth & Culture • Enroll in our Passport Program for career development and advancement • Work in a supportive and structured kitchen environment with high culinary standards Your Responsibilities As the Executive Sous Chef, you will work alongside the Executive Chef and General Manager to oversee all kitchen operations, maintain food quality and consistency, and develop a high-performing BOH team. • Lead daily operations and ensure food quality, presentation, and execution meet brand standards • Train, coach, and motivate sous chefs and kitchen team members • Monitor and manage food cost, labor, and inventory controls • Implement food safety procedures and kitchen cleanliness standards • Conduct menu tastings, lead strategy sessions, and support team development • Write BOH schedules and assign daily/weekly/monthly tasks • Support staff growth by promoting 2–3 supervisors/chefs per year • Ensure equipment is operational and maintained at all times What We’re Looking For • 3–5 years of experience as a Executive Sous Chef/ Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen • Excellent kitchen and team management skills • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining quality and efficiency • Strong understanding of food cost control, scheduling, and P&L management • Effective communication and leadership qualities • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred • Working knowledge of kitchen software and systems About Bulla Gastrobar Bulla Gastrobar is known for its lively atmosphere, open kitchen, and commitment to bold, fresh Spanish cuisine.
