Expense Specialist (Contractor)

We are looking for an exceptional Expense Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will  be responsible for handling the expense reimbursement process end to end within a small team of 2 people. The ideal candidate will be hard working, have an attention to detail, and can communicate well. Note this is a contract role to start, however has the potential to be converted to a full time position with strong performance.

Responsibilities

• Review employee expense reports to ensure expenses are within company policy which includes checking receipts, expense coding, expense explanation, etc
• Perform audits and analysis on employee expenses
• Provide professional assistance to employees who have questions or issues with the expense submission, policies, tools, or workflows
• Assist in coding and reviewing corporate card expenses
• Assist in special projects to improve Expense process

Requirements

• BA/BBA/BS Degree from 4 year university 
• Experience working in a corporate environment, but no expense experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to focus, complete tasks accurately and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
