We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and regulatory reporting requirements. As a CPA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of tax returns as well as financial statements while adhering to GAAP standards. Duties • Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other client reports. • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients in a variety of industries. • Review and supervise team members and ensure the quality of work. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering personalized accounting and financial services. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and guidelines. • Lead audits and support the firm's internal processes for improved efficiency. • Responsible for reviewing workpapers and financial statements for audits, reviews, and compilation engagements. Qualifications • Active CPA certification with at least 10 years of public accounting experience. • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. • Strong proficiency in accounting and tax software (QuickBooks, Lacerte, etc.). • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and client management skills. • Ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback to team members. • Experience with the peer review process and the quality management system.
