Overview We are seeking an EXPERIENCED DISPATCHER to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient communication and coordination within our operations. The dispatcher will be responsible for managing the flow of information between various departments, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. Duties • Coordinate and schedule deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch of goods. • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other team members to relay important information. • Utilize cash register and POS systems for transaction processing as needed. • Assist in sales activities, providing exceptional customer service to enhance the experience. • Maintain levels and assist in management. • Apply skills to manage orders and track sales performance. • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the dispatch process promptly. Experience • Proven experience in a dispatch or similar role is required. • Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is preferred. • Strong background in retail sales, ideally within a grocery store environment. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with team members and customers. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
