Job Description
We’re seeking a licensed Enrolled Agent with at least 4 years of experience in a high-volume tax office environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, and skilled in managing IRS and state tax resolution cases. While this role does not involve tax return preparation, a basic understanding of tax return content and structure is essential for effective case handling and client representation.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities
- Analyze tax problems and develop resolution strategies (e.g., offers in compromise,
installment agreements, penalty abatement)
- Communicate regularly with clients to gather information and provide updates
- Prepare and submit IRS and state power of attorney forms
- Collaborate with internal resolution and compliance teams to move cases forward
- Maintain accurate documentation of case activities in firm systems
- Respond to notices, requests, and correspondence from tax agencies
Requirements:
- Current Enrolled Agent (EA) license in good standing -applications without an active EA license will not be considered
- Minimum 4 years of tax experience in a high-volume resolution office
- Strong working knowledge of IRS and state tax agency procedures
- Basic understanding of tax returns and supporting schedules
- Excellent communication, organization, and case management skills
- Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office
- Bilingual a plus, but not required

Pay: $90,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
