Experienced Finish Carpenter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing interior and exterior finishing tasks on residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of various hand and power tools. The Finish Carpenter will work closely with project managers, other trades, and clients to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and timely project completion. Responsibilities • Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects • Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing and drywall installation as needed • Install fixtures such as lighting, hardware, and appliances with precision • Apply caulking, stucco, siding, and other surface finishes to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes • Execute restoration work including water damage remediation and mold remediation when required • Operate hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, saws), and CNC equipment safely and effectively • Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards Qualifications • Proven experience in construction estimating, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, or related fields • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately • Experience with metal stud framing, cabinetry installation, door hanging, some fixture installation, remodeling, flooring installation, electrical experience or plumbing is highly desirable • Heavy lifting capability and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks throughout the workday • Knowledge of schematics for electrical or plumbing systems preferred • Prior construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills • Valid driver’s license is mandatory for mobility between sites Join our team as a Finish Carpenter if you are passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to diverse projects.
