Experienced HVAC Field Service Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to oversee and manage our HVAC operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on air conditioning, and equipment repair. This role requires effective leadership skills to guide a team of technicians in maintaining and improving HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities • Supervise HVAC team members, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of all HVAC systems. • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify issues and implement necessary repairs or replacements. • Design and implement preventive maintenance programs for all HVAC equipment, including ammonia refrigeration systems. • Provide training and support to technicians in the use of tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems within building operations. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance schedules. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations. • Assist in troubleshooting complex HVAC issues related to plumbing, boiling, refrigerating, and other mechanical functions. Skills • Proficient in air conditioning technologies. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to design effective HVAC solutions. • Experience in equipment repair and maintenance practices. • Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components. • Valid driver's license with experience driving a van for transportation between job sites. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
