Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Location:Dallas, Texas Key Responsibilities: • System Diagnostics & Repair:Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, refrigeration systems, and ice machines, ensuring optimal performance. • Preventative Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting system components to prevent future issues. • Installation Support:Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. • Customer Interaction:Communicate effectively with customers to explain service procedures, provide maintenance recommendations, and address any concerns. • Documentation:Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. • Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications: • Experience:Minimum of 5 years in the HVAC industry, with hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems. • Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of both residential and commercial HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration systems, reach-ins, and ice machines. • Certifications:EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigerant handling. • Skills:Proficient in electrical and mechanical diagnostics, reading schematics, and using HVAC tools and equipment. • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members. • Licensing:Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Physical Requirements:Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.
