Experienced Janitor

Job Summary: Must have janitorial experience on resume. The Parking Lot Janitor will keep the parking lot and surrounding areas clean and organized. They must perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all parking lot users. Hours:6am - 2:30 pm Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish preferred to communicate with our diverse clientele effectively. Janitor or Custodian experience required on Resume Note:A background check will be performed after a conditional offer is made. Key Responsibilities: • Clean the parking lot daily, including sweeping, picking up litter, and emptying trash cans. • Clean and maintain the sidewalks, curbs, and other areas surrounding the parking lot. • Monitor the parking lot's condition, report any damages or issues to management, and take necessary actions to address them. • Keep the parking lot free of debris. • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and repairing damaged signs. • Maintain a stock of cleaning supplies and ensure they are used safely and effectively. • Interact with customers courteously and professionally, answering questions and assisting when needed. • Clean bathrooms, check bathroom supplies throughout the day, and restock when necessary. • Maintain the cleanliness of elevators. • Perform spot painting when necessary. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. • References upon request. • Ability to work independently and take the initiative to identify and address cleaning and maintenance needs. • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods. • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach to perform cleaning tasks.
