Experienced Product Manager - Credit Risk

Our Credit’s team mission is to power access to more affordable credit products. We believe that bank data is the missing piece of the puzzle when it comes to credit. Our suite of credit products empowers consumers to share data to help create a more holistic financial picture while also providing the tools that lenders use to streamline their credit decisions.

As the Product Manager for Credit team you will be responsible for building the next generation of cash flow-based insights that will be used by lenders to make better credit decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic direction and lead the build of our model-based credit insights products including network-based insights

• Drive improvements to our model foundations

• Act as a subject matter expert for our credit insights products supporting data science engineering Go-to-Market

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a product manager

• Deep understanding of credit risk and the development of underwriting models

• Experience with AI/ML product development

• Experience working with various credit data sources including traditional credit report and alternative credit data like bank data

• Demonstrated ability to make data driven decisions

• [Nice to have] Experience working with user-permissioned bank account data

$182520 - $297000 a year

Target base salary for this role is between $182520 and $297000 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan including medical dental vision and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidate's work experience and skillset and location.
