Experienced Sous Chef (Full Time, Daytime) for a Commissary Kitchen in Chicago

About us For an NYC based celebrity chef, now working with Cook Unity to cook and deliver her great meals to customers across the US. We are supportive, collaborative and fast-paced. Our work environment includes: • Food provided Job description Seeking experienced cook at an Chicago commissary kitchen outpost for a chef based in NY. Must be able to work independently in a high volume environment. 8 hour daily shift. Flexible, worker friendly schedule, we work on the weekends. Cooking includes overseeing prep, production, packing individual meals, assisting with recipe development. Working closely with Head chef to execute a variety of meals in a timely manner Qualifications Previous experience in kitchen environments producing high volumes of food (restaurants, catering) is a must. Food handlers certification required Must be a team player with a positive attitude and good knife skills English / Spanish speakers are both welcome to apply. Bilingual is a must. References requested Compensation Hourly position, starting at $25/hr. Performance bonuses.
