Some of the many perks offered to our employees are: • Company-sponsored social events and team-building activities • Modern and well-equipped work environment • Collaborative and inclusive work culture • Opportunities for advancement and career growth • Supportive and accessible leadership team • Options for Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage • Options for STD, LTD and various other coverages • Company-paid life insurance • Paid time off • 401k and 401k company matching As aSign Fabricatorwith our growing Manufacturing Team, some of the job duties performed will include: • Positioning, aligning, fitting and welding parts to form a complete unit or subunit • Aluminum welding and fabrication • Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials required and task sequences • Verifying conformance of workpieces to specifications using squares, rulers and measuring tapes • Tack-welding fitted parts together • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components • Align and fit parts according to specifications using jacks, turnbuckles, wedges, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers. • Additional duties as needed Qualifications, education, and requirements for theSign Fabricatorposition include: • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models • Works well in team environment • 2 Shifts Available: 6:00am-2:30pm M-F or 1:30pm-10:00pm M-Th, 11:00am-7:30pm F • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Some trade school coursework is preferred • 2-5 years or more experience as a sheet metal fabricator – aluminum welding preferred Physical requirements for theSign Fabricatorposition include: Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The work is performed primarily indoors. There are extreme changes in temperature and humidity within the plant and office area.
