Job Description
The Experiential Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that position AREA15 as the premier destination for private parties, corporate gatherings, immersive group experiences and elevated VIP activations. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and guest experience building campaigns and partnerships that fuel event inquiries, showcase our unique venues, and highlight AREA15 as a must-book destination for clients of all sizes.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote corporate and private events.
• Create sales enablement materials (pitch decks, one-sheets, case studies) for the Events Sales team.
• Manage digital and on-property marketing channels that drive event leads.
• Partner with content, social, and PR teams to spotlight successful events and client stories.
• Support the design needs and promotion of AREA15’s VIP packages and high-end customer experiences.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure premium offerings are marketed effectively.
• Maintain client and planner relationships through targeted communications and follow-ups.
• Build relationships with corporate planners, DMCs, and local businesses to generate leads.
• Support community engagement efforts by promoting AREA15’s venues for nonprofit and cultural events.
• Provide marketing collateral and representation as needed at local trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
• Strong collaboration with internal teams, resulting in seamless marketing-to-sales alignment.
• Innovative campaigns that highlight AREA15 as the destination for unforgettable group experiences.
• Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
• Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
• Be available to respond to time sensitive matters
• Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
• Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
• 5-7 years of marketing experience in hospitality, events, or entertainment.
• Preferred experience working with corporate event planners, marketing agencies, and incentive groups.
• Proven success in developing and executing event or venue marketing campaigns.
• Proven track record running campaigns specifically designed to generate leads and drive traffic to submit RFPs and request site visits.
• Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing within events or hospitality.
• Comfortable assisting with planning or possibly attending on behalf of AREA15 at IMEX, MPI, SITE, Cvent, Connect, and other industry shows; should be polished, credible, and able to speak to private event specifics.
• Experience collaborating with sales teams to drive leads and bookings.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Competence with tracking campaign performance, lead funnels, and ROI, ideally in partnership with sales ops/CRM systems.
• Creative mindset with the ability to translate AREA15’s immersive brand into compelling marketing campaigns.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
• Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
