POSITION SUMMARY
You will be accountable for proactively and holistically supporting Solution Architect activities within specific product groups that fit within the overall Enterprise Architecture and meet the product group strategy. You will provide the necessary leadership, analysis, and design tasks related to the development of solutions based on MS Azure and Power BI tech stacks. You will own the solution architecture specification and be accountable for supervising the design as well as the integration execution
Job Responsibilities
- Delivers the architectural design for Analytical solutions and inputs to the roadmap by utilizing knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience to translate a business need into a solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution
- Defines the guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision
- Delivers the integration of solutions within the product / product group / platform and implements the integration strategy for cross-product group purposes
- Ensures delivery of architecture patterns that effectively leverage data foundation assets and incorporate API led designs.
- Leads the implementation and integration of technical architecture across a product group based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements
- Monitors the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements
- Defines and documents the guidelines, standards, and solution architecture to ensure product-based decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision
- Designs and directs the governance activities associated with ensuring product architecture assurance and compliance
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations
- 2+ years of working experience with agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams
- 1+ years of experience with the design of cloud-based architecture
- 1+ years of experience working with PowerBI
- Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher within Computer Science or related field
- Prior experience with data science principles
- Prior exposure to Machine Learning practices and data model development
