Extrusion/Injection Molding Technician Our client (a large chemical company) is looking for a skilledExtrusion/Injection Molding Technicianwith a strong background in polymer processing to support their manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in extrusion and/or injection molding processes and demonstrate proficiency in advanced data analysis using Microsoft Excel. Key Responsibilities: • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot extrusion and injection molding machines. • Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality and output. • Perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed. • Optimize process parameters to improve efficiency, cycle time, and material usage. • Interpret and analyze production data using advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros). • Document production parameters, process deviations, and corrective actions. • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and R&D teams on new product trials and process improvements. • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience in polymer extrusion and/or injection molding operations. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros). • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Familiarity with thermoplastics, tooling, and molding/extrusion machine components. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Bachelor’sdegree is preferred, but not required.
