What will you do?

GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision operates robotic machiner y to weld materials together to assemble a structure .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Associate will operate spot weld and frame welder in Fabrication department
• Repetitive lifting motions to load materials into machine

• Operate weld machine

• Data entry

• Operate crane lift to move heavy parts

• Unloading of finished product from machinery

• Inspection of product upon completion to ensure quality and accuracy

• Attention to detail

• Participate in general housekeeping (5S) duties within work area

• Perform general preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on area equipment as needed

• Cross-train and rotate through various stations within department as needed to provide additional support

• Conduct on-the-job (OTJ) for newly hired and/or transferred employees

• Report material and equipment problems to appropriate personnel

• Participate in meetings to resolve production issues and interface with other shifts and support groups as needed

• Associate will flex to other areas as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Abilities:

• General knowledge of manufacturing and hand tools (preferred, but not required )

• Adaptable to rotation of workstation throughout shift

• General knowledge of personal computer operation and systems

• Good dexterity

• Must be able to obtain crane lift certification upon hire

• Must be self-sufficient (required)

What qualifications will make you successful?

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience at SE a plus
