Experience: must have3-10year’sjob-experience in welding & fabrication (does NOT include school experience) Salary:$25.00 - $33.00 (40 hours/week guaranteed) Opportunity for OT (per diems when traveling) Benefits: • Excellent medical, dental and vision insurance • Life insurance at 2.5 times annual base salary provided • Short & Long Term Disability insurance provided • PTO and paid holidays • 401(k) match (up to 4% of salary; no vesting period) • Opportunity for significant over-time work Government rates for per diem when traveling Primary Duties • Read and interpret blue-prints and build within required tolerances • General construction activities & manual labor that includes heavy lifting, grinding, painting the finished product & use of various power tools • MIG welding, FCAW welding and TIG welding multiple material types including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Specifically able to perform AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, AWS D1.3, AWS D9.1 qualified welds Requirements: • Ability to obtain a USA Passport • Able to perform, but not limited to, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.3, AWS D1.6, AWS D9.1, AWS B2.1 qualified welds • Capable of passing 3G / 4G plate tests with FCAW & GMAW and GTAW processes • Capable of fitting up complex weldments with consideration for tolerance, shrinkage, and warpage • Ability to weld various metals including, carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys • Self-motivated; well organized; and curious to learn all facets of the job • demonstrated problem-solving ability • Excellent communication skills and an excellent team member • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, work independently, investigate & troubleshoot issues • Good math skills and strong skills reading blueprints • Strong skills recognizing/understanding a wide variety of welding & fabrication techniques • Able to use grinders, chop saws, drills, plasma cutters and both scissor-lift & variable-reach forklifts • Able to bend over, kneel and crouch for long periods of time, & able to lift at least 50 lbs. Preferred Experience • HEMP welding experience • Capability to complete 6G certification in FCAW/GMAW and GTAW processes This posting will remain open until the position is filled.
