Fabricator / Welder/ IND painter (3yr EXP REQ)

Hiring Immediately! Fabricator / Welder/ IND painter Job pay based on experience $20 - $35 As a Metal Fabricator, you'll be responsible forcutting, fitting, grinding, and assembling steel componentsin our shop and on-site at job locations. You'll work on a variety of fire escape systems, often dealing with aged or irregular materials. After fabrication and repair, you’ll also assist withbasic painting and touch-upto ensure each job is completed to code and ready for inspection. This role requires working at heights. If you are unwilling to paint after fabricating or repairing, this is not the job for you. Responsibilities • Measure, cut, and fit steel components • Grind, prep, and weld materials as needed • Read and follow shop drawings and on-site instructions • Perform basic surface prep and paint application post-repair • Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely • Assist with field installations and repairs of fire escapes • Work at height and follow all safety protocols • Travel for short-term jobs when required (all expenses paid) Requirements • 3+ years of metal fabrication experience • Skilled in cutting, grinding, fitting, and general assembly • Ability to read a tape measure and follow detailed instructions • Familiarity with power tools and basic construction practices • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors • Willing to assist with light painting duties • Valid driver’s license; clean record preferred • Willingness to travel for occasional out-of-town jobs (includes per diem) • Welding experience (Stick) Nice to Have • Field installation or structural repair experience • Leadership or crew experience • OSHA or safety training Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
