Job Description
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
InStyle is looking for a Fashion Director to oversee all fashion, personal style, trends, and sustainability coverage on InStyle platforms. The Fashion Director will be responsible for leading franchises within these categories and writing and assigning related stories including those with search pegs as well as fashion features. This person will also concept and oversee original shoots and visuals for the fashion vertical as well as manage styling for shoots. The fashion director will collaborate with the advertising and marketing teams on strategy for branded content and partnerships as well as liaise with external brand representatives and advertising partners.
II. Essential Job Functions

40% - Write and assign stories for the fashion vertical including features, interviews, news, and search
10% - Direct visuals for original fashion content, including styling
40% - Concept and execute fashion franchises for onsite and video

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education: College Degree
Experience: At least 10 years of professional experience styling or serving as a fashion director or senior fashion editor at a fashion publication or brand.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert knowledge of fashion industry and trends, understanding of best search practices, experience editing short-form and long-form stories.

Pay Range
Salary: $91000 - $130000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
