Your Role and Responsibilities

The IBM Client Innovation Centre (CIC): Rocket Center West Virginia occupies a unique position in the IT marketplace – at the intersection of business and technology.

In this role you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance while in IBM Consulting-Federal.
• Have graduated no earlier than 2022 and will be graduating no later than 2024
• Be willing and able to live near and work in Rocket Center West Virginia

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Have an Associate’s Degree College Diploma Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree by date of employment. Exception: This program does not accept MBA or PhD candidates/graduates
• Have flexibility to work across architecture – building both front end and backend
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure IBM Cloud and Google Cloud
• Exposure to technologies such as DevOps tools and techniques such as OpenShift Jenkins Chef Ansible Terraform and or Agile.
• Exposure of best practices around design patterns performance tuning automated and unit testing
• Help maintain and improve code quality organization and automatization
• Communicate with stakeholders on technical issues Design and code servers services applications and databases on platforms such as PostgreSQL MySQL and Oracle that are reusable scalable and meet critical architecture goals.
• Proficiency in working with Git repositories for version control and collaborative development
