Job Description

Essential Job Functions: 

Pay Range: $72,975.00 - $91,225.00 per year

• Provide supervision and direction to employees in order to:
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Meet feed production demand and quality standards.
• Control costs in order to meet or surpass annual budget.
• Maintain facilities to the highest level of standards.
• Monitor quality of Pelleted Feed and all incoming ingredients making corrections as needed.
• Oversee recordkeeping verifying proper product sequencing, flushing etc.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required.
• Oversee all feed mill employee training.
• Monitor, control and reconcile ingredient inventories.
• Supply detailed and accurate data to accounting in a timely manner.

Additional Functions:

•  Assist with developing concepts to improve production and cost.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations for a 24/7 operation.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• College degree with an Ag Business, Business Administration, or Operations Management preferred.
• Experience with feed mill production is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Must be able to lead, supervise, and develop employees.
• Must be able to organize, plan, and put strategies into place to achieve goals and objectives.
• Must be able to make decisions and enforce them.
• Must be committed to quality, safety and performance.
• Must be computer literate.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
