POSITION SUMMARY

• The Fertigation Specialist is responsible for preparing and mixing stock and batch solutions, taking and recording media and runoff readings, and adjusting irrigation schedules. They ensure the fertigation system functions correctly, clean equipment and work areas, and conduct room checks to verify that drippers are working properly and plants are healthy. Additionally, they oversee and guide the Fertigation Associates, helping to lead and coordinate tasks effectively. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mixing stock solutions 
• Ensure proper mixing of batch solutions 
• Taking media readings with meters and recording data 
• Taking runoff readings with meters and recording data 
• Adjusting irrigation schedules 
• Ensure proper function of fertigation system 
• Cleaning all equipment and work areas 
• Room checks to ensure drippers are working properly 
• Room checks inspecting plant health 
• Overseeing fertigation associates and helping lead tasks 

POSITION SCHEDULE

• 4 days a week/10 hour shifts 6am-4:30pm 
• Full Time position

QUALIFICATIONS

• Horticulture and/or Agriculture Experience, 1+ years (preferred)
• Production/Manufacturing Experience, 1+ years (preferred)
• Cannabis Industry Experience (preferred)
• Basic Math, Organizational, and Computer Skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basis 
• Active and valid government issued photo identification 
• 21 years of age or older 
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire) in accordance with State law.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work involves physical exertion such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, squatting, pivoting, and carrying items/ product on a regular basis. Employees will be required to stand for extended periods and may need to climb ladders or operate equipment. The warehouse/ facility environment may be subject to hot and cold temperatures, and ventilation may not be available in all areas. The warehouse environment may be subject to elevated noise volumes due to equipment, machinery, and the movement of goods. The warehouse/ facility may be subject to dirt, dust, cleaning solutions, chemicals, and debris from the handling of goods. The warehouse/ facility may have safety hazards such as slippery floors, moving equipment, and the presence of hazardous materials. You will need to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment as needed.
