Currently we are looking to fill a role to provide more growth and better service to our customer base. We are looking for a Field Canvassing Manager.
The Field Canvassing Manager will be responsible for building, recruiting, training, and managing a team of door-to-door canvassers who generate leads for the sales team. This position requires someone who is hands-on, direct and a personable leader, someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing position.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of canvassers focused on door-to-door lead generation.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team is equipped with the best sales scripts, objection-handling techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
• Motivate and inspire the team to exceed lead generation and appointment-setting goals through daily coaching and performance management.
• Continuous field training and ride-a longs to ensure best practices are being implemented.
• Safely operate a company-provided van to transport canvassers to and from designated locations. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential for this role.
Sales & Marketing Strategy:
• Develop and execute territory-based canvassing strategies to maximize lead flow within Houston and surrounding neighborhoods.
• Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to align canvassing efforts with Holden Roofing’s overall business strategy.
• Identify high-opportunity neighborhoods through data analysis and customer demographics.
Performance Management & Optimization:
· Achieve goals/quotas by meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals/quotas set by leadership
• Set and track individual and team performances
• Analyze data and trends to adjust strategy and optimize door-to-door outreach efforts.
• Ensure all canvassers adhere to Holden Roofing’s brand standards and canvassing practices.
• Track lead quality and ensure proper follow-up by the sales team.
Job Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in small team management, field marketing, door-to-door sales, or solar sales leadership.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage high-performance teams.
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding all standards given
• Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
• Experience with all types of technology (phones/tablets/computers)
• Comfortable working in a field-based role, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Prior experience in roofing, home improvement, or solar industries is a plus.
