About the Role:

Vercel is looking for a Pre-Sales Enablement Lead a pivotal role aimed at empowering our sales teams with the insights methodologies and tools necessary to excel in their engagements with prospects. This individual contributor role will focus initially on managing and enhancing the onboarding curriculum sales motions and methodologies and new go-to-market (GTM) processes. While a technical background is a plus the core of this role is centered around pre-sales excellence requiring a deep understanding of sales processes and the ability to impart this knowledge effectively.

What You Will Do:

  • Curriculum Development and Management : Design and manage a comprehensive onboarding and continuous learning curriculum for pre-sales teams focusing on sales methodologies product knowledge and GTM strategies.

  • Content Creation : Independently develop engaging and impactful training content including presentations workshops and digital resources tailored to the needs of pre-sales teams.

  • Training Delivery : Facilitate dynamic and interactive training sessions that are both informative and practical ensuring participants can apply concepts directly to customer interactions.

  • Sales Process Optimization : Work closely with Sales and Operational Leadership to refine and implement sales motions and methodologies that drive efficiency and effectiveness within the pre-sales team.

  • GTM Strategy Alignment : Ensure that all enablement activities are aligned with Vercel's GTM strategies contributing to a coherent and unified approach to market penetration.

  • Relationship Building : Establish and nurture strong relationships across sales product and marketing teams to foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment of enablement efforts with organizational goals.

About You:

  • Motivated Self-Starter : Highly independent and motivated with a proven track record of taking initiative and driving projects to completion.

  • Sales Savvy : Solid experience in sales or sales enablement preferably in a tech or SaaS environment with a deep understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

  • Relationship Builder : Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Content Development : Skilled in developing and delivering compelling sales enablement content with a flair for presenting complex concepts in an accessible manner.

  • Learner and Innovator : Curious and eager to learn about Vercel’s products and processes with a constant eye on improving and innovating the pre-sales enablement landscape.

  • Adaptable : Comfortable working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment with the ability to pivot quickly as strategies and priorities evolve.

Bonus If You:

  • Have experience in developing tools and methodologies for pre-sales enablement.

  • Are familiar with JavaScript Vercel or similar technologies though not required.

  • Possess a background in a sales or customer-facing role within a dev tools company.

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing Communications or a related field.

The San Francisco CA base pay range for this role is $138000.00 - $193000.00.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
