Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Ranging from $27 - $35 per hour, based on experience Position Summary: Field Leadman is responsible for overseeing glaziers on a jobsite while ensuring projects are successfully installed in the safest and most efficient manner. This position will report to the Field Superintendent. Job Requirements: • Directly responsible for managing a team of installers to provide quality installations of the Walters & Wolf products. • Recruit, mentor, and train talented individuals to build the best field installers in the glazing industry. • Create a culture of continuous improvement by empowering the field team to identify and resolve the everyday challenges they encounter. • Ensure the safety of all our employees through directly observing the work environment, coordinating with our safety team, and creating a culture of safety within the company. • Ensure the quality of our work meets or exceeds the standards we have set for ourselves. • Coordinate project material deliveries to and from our shop. • Attend the kick-off meeting for all projects. • Review and interpret shop drawings to ensure details are accurate, compliant with project specifications, and constructible. • Coordinate timing of material deliveries with the project manager to ensure material delivery dates will meet the project schedule’s completion dates. • Provide input to project managers to aid in the development of labor and equipment plans prior to starting on the projects. • Installation of storefront, curtain wall, entrance systems and other various glazing systems • Must possess basic set of glazing tools and bring to jobsite as needed. • Meet weekly with the project manager to create a 2-week look-ahead report and walk each jobsite at least once a week. • Consult with customer on site to ensure quality and schedule expectations are being met. • Foster an atmosphere of innovation and continuous improvement.
