Field Service Engineer - Power Distribution

What you'll do:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, retrofit, and maintenance of low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) equipment at client sites. Your role will involve engaging with clients to promote sales of spare parts, repairs, maintenance, and retrofits, ensuring that our products meet their needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Maintenance: Execute installation and maintenance tasks for LV and MV equipment.
• Fault Finding & Repairs: Diagnose issues and perform repairs and retrofits on electrical equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Reporting: Compile detailed reports and documentation of work performed.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster trust and satisfaction.
• Standby Participation: Be available for standby duties as required.
• Sales Promotion: Actively promote and sell equipment and services to both existing and new clients.
• Compliance: Seek guidance from supervisors regarding EHS compliance and work methods.
• Equipment Usage: Utilize tools, clothing, and equipment as defined by management and Eaton EHS standards.
• Database Management: Ensure client databases are up-to-date and accurate.
• Travel: Travel nationally and internationally as needed to support client requirements.
• Overtime: Work overtime when necessary to ensure timely completion of projects, compensated accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Education: N-Dip in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field
